The Saint Sebastian Fund

The St. Sebastian Fund, a 501C3 not-for-profit corporation, was created in 2009 to focus on helping Catholic parishes and Catholic educational organizations foster athletics within their Catholic communities. We believe that athletics is a key part of the educational experience of our young people. Sports and physical education programs rely primarily on booster clubs and donations from parents and friends to equip their teams. The goal of our fund is to help Catholic education by investing in programs that aid student-athletes.

Our initial activity will focus on helping these schools to acquire needed athletic equipment. We have established the web site www.catholic-athletics.org. The web site is designed for Catholic schools to post projects so that our member-donors may identify and contribute to them.

In the future, we intend to award grants for capital improvement projects that will help build and grow athletic programs in Catholic schools. Additionally, we intend to develop a scholarship program to help families better afford a Catholic education for their children.
